The exact location is tricky to map because it's in an unincorporated area between South Elgin, Wayne, and St. Charles. The address style confuses mapping programs and the road has no local name other than being Illinois route 25. Finally, beware that the road was reconstructed in the summer of 2015 and may not match previous maps. (And a map from before 2010 is now very wrong in this area.)

It's easier to find than map. Look for the Forest Preserve Entrance signs on IL-25. When you turn off the road, head through the yellow gates on the left.

It's just south of the Stearns Rd. intersection, but that's also hard to describe because IL-25 runs on Stearns for half a mile.

From Rockford: Take I-90 east to Randall Rd. south. Turn left on Stearns (second light after railroad crossing). You are now in the west side of South Elgin ....

From west Elgin/South Elgin: take Stearns over the river, turn right on Rt. 25, driveway on left.

From I-88: exit Farnsworth north. Keep going straight: the road will become Kirk Rd. for several miles, then Dunham Rd. Turn left on Stearns Rd., which will be IL-25 south, and will be a big, wide, elevated intersection in the middle of nowhere. Go straight through the next two stoplights, following IL-25 south but leaving Stearns. The driveway will be on the left.

From O'Hare: Take I-90 west to IL-59 south. Turn right on Stearns Rd. Go straight at the IL-25/Dunham intersection, following IL-25 south. Go straight through the next two stoplights, following IL-25 south but leaving Stearns. The driveway will be on the left.
